The machine body, sides and top are 1/4″ steel. Ram is constructed of 1/4″ steel, with 3/8″ steel face. Header bar is 5″ x 5″ x 1/2″ steel angle.

The hopper is constructed of 11 ga. steel plate with a 1/4″ back plate to take the impact of falling refuse. The 1830-Standard provides an economical solution with a 1 HP power unit.
